Roberta Sauerbronn is a producer, director and curator with nearly three decades of experience in the audiovisual industry and over 100 credits. In 2008, she founded Saraguina Filmes, dedicated to developing and producing films and series that connect Brazilian narratives to international circuits while bringing together art, audiences and territory.
Her work gained international attention with the short film A Distração de Ivan, selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. Her credits include the feature films Serra Fina: Além das Cinzas and Pelé (Netflix) and UN Women campaigns. Her projects have screened and received awards at festivals worldwide and on platforms such as FIFA+, Globoplay and Channel 4.
Since 2023, she has been part of the ConnectAmericas for Women network (IDB). In 2024, she won the Sebrae Women in Business Award in International Business. In 2026, she was selected for CIRCLE’s Digital Empowerment Programme.
In 2026, Roberta was awarded a fellowship to attend the EAVE+.
