Rafaella Costa is a São Paulo–based producer and founder of Manjericão Filmes, a production company dedicated to internationally oriented independent cinema and creative co-productions. Her work focuses on projects that combine strong authorial vision, social engagement and international circulation. She is a member of the Projeto Paradiso, which brings together leading professionals in the Brazilian and global film industry. Her credits include Lillah Halla’s debut feature "Levante" (2023), premiered at Cannes Critics’ Week, winner of the FIPRESCI Prize, and "My Name Is Baghdad" (2020) by Caru Alves de Souza, winner of the Grand Prix at Berlinale Generation 14plus. Her films have screened at major festivals including Cannes, Berlin and Rotterdam. Costa also works as executive producer on series for global platforms such as Disney+, HBO and Netflix+.
Rafaella is the producer of "Power Alley", by Lillah Halla, a feature film project selected for the First Cut Lab Paradiso Brazil's second edition.
