Perseu Azul is a filmmaker from Mato Grosso who started his audiovisual journey at the age of 17 in the US. With degrees in Foreign Trade and Law (with international studies in Lisbon), founded Cérberos Filmes in 2014, dedicating fully to the audiovisual. Screenwriter, director, producer, and art educator, seeks to combine critique and entertainment. Has written and directed the series "O Muro" (2015), "Insustentáveis" (2017), and the animation "FloriFluto" (2025). In May 2026, will release the TV movie "Amor em Movimento" (Globo/Globoplay). His last short films have totaled around 100 selections at festivals such as Brasília, Tiradentes, FICA, Guarnicê, CinePE, and Panorama. Is developing "Império de Sorvete" (Guiões semifinalist), "Walala" (Cinemundi, best pitch at Mostra SP, Ventana Sur), and "Relicário" (Guiões finalist). Is interested in comedies, dramedies, dystopias, and climatic narratives. Is father to a girl and, in the free time, enjoys gardening, hiking, and planting trees with her.
