Nina Kopko is a director, screenwriter, acting coach, and script consultant. Her debut short film, "Lunch Break", has won over 30 awards at festivals in 15 countries, including Best Short Film at the Havana, Fribourg, Brasília, and Rio festivals, among others, and was voted Best Brazilian Short Film of 2021 by the Brazilian Film Critics Association. She wrote and directed the documentary series "The Story of a Plant" and "Women for Independence" for Brazilian television. She attended a screenwriting residency at Cité des Arts (Paris, 2022) and took part in Berlinale Talents (2025). In 2026, her feature project "The Last Dog on Earth" was selected for WEMW, in Trieste, and received three awards: the Pop-Up Film Residency 2026, the Ciclic Award, and the EWA Award.

Nina was awarded a fellowship to BAL-LAB at the Biarritz International Film Festival in 2019. In 2026, she received fellowship to Pop Up Film Residency and Institut Français' La Fabrique Cinéma with the project "The Last Dog on Earth".
