Naya Oliveira is a screenwriter, director of photography, and audiovisual filmmaker, graduated from the Escola Pública de Audiovisual Vila das Artes. She participated in the 8th edition of LANANI – the Black and Indigenous Narratives Lab by Globo in partnership with FLUP – and in the 13th edition of Cena 15, a feature film script development lab at Porto Iracema das Artes, where she developed the project Bar das Almas, which received three major awards: the Rede Paradiso Talents Award, the Pródigo Award, and the Filmicca Audience Award.

She is a member of APAN (Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals) and has worked as director of photography on several short films from Ceará, notably Kila and Mauna (2023), which won Best Cinematography at the Primeiro Plano Festival (2024) and was nominated for Best Cinematography by the Brazilian Association of Cinematography.

In 2026, she served as a jury member for the Brazilian Association of Cinematography (ABCine) in the Best Cinematography for Advertising Film category.

In 2026, Naya received the Paradiso Award at the Lab Cena 15 for the feature project "Bar das Almas", with Emilly Guilherme.
