Marcela Oliveira is an audiovisual professional from São Paulo, Brazil, with experience in production, directing, screenwriting, and film distribution. She holds degrees in Psychology and Audiovisual Production and is currently pursuing a postgraduate specialization in Cultural Projects and Programs Management. She began her professional career in the film industry in 2022 and currently works as a Release Producer at Vitrine Filmes, developing release campaigns and distribution strategies for Brazilian cinema.
As a writer and director, she has made two independent short films, including "Céu" (2023). She participated in the São Paulo Locarno Industry Academy in 2024 and was selected for Cannes Makers 2025. Her work is guided by the belief that more people should have the opportunity to see themselves reflected on screen, especially those whose stories have rarely occupied the center of the narrative.
In 2026, Marcela received a fellowship to attend Locarno Pro U30, and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
