Film director and producer, curator, and cultural manager, born in Favela da Maré, Rio de Janeiro and has worked in the audiovisual industry for the past 10 years. He is Analyst at the Cultural Department of Sesc’s National Administration, where he works with curation, licensing and national programming, as well as coordination and cooperation with Sesc’s Regional Departments and other industry players. He founded the independent production company TV Coragem in 2020. Among his works as writer-director and producer are "Between the Colony and the Stars" (2022), supported by the Göteborg Film Fund, screened at the BlackStar Film Festival, and licensed by Canal Brasil and Globoplay, and "Perpetual" (2019), which premiered at IFFR Rotterdam. He has taken part in labs and markets such as Locarno Industry Academy Latin America, DOCSP (2024), the American Film Showcase (Los Angeles, 2023), Apichatpong’s Creators Lab (Peruvian Amazon, 2022), Talents Buenos Aires (2022), and Ventana Sur (2025).
Lorran was awarded a fellowship to attend the Apichatpong Weerasethakul Lab in 2022.
