Lincoln Péricles (aka LK) is a director, screenwriter, and producer from Capão Redondo, Brazil. He began his career making films that circulated through pirate DVD stands.
His work has been presented at festivals such as Cannes, Doclisboa, FICValdivia, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, and FID Marseille, as well as at institutions like Centre Pompidou through the “Ideal Cinematheque of the World’s Outskirts,” conceived by Alice Diop. He also develops video art and photography exhibited at major international shows, including Rencontres d’Arles (France) and Jimei (China).
Featured by Cahiers du Cinéma in multiple years, he has had retrospectives such as Regards Satellites (Saint-Denis) and was awarded the William Greaves Fund (USA) in 2025.
He actively engages in international co-productions with Kenya, Uganda, Mexico, France, and Portugal, and leads projects in refugee camps and favelas across the Global South.
In 2026, Licoln was selected for the Cité Internationale des Arts and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
