Leonardo Mecchi is a founding partner of Enquadramento Produções. He has produced feature films such as "Los Silencios", directed by Beatriz Seigner (Cannes Film Festival – Directors’ Fortnight); "The Fever", by Maya Da-Rin (Locarno Film Festival); "The Intrusion", by Flora Dias and Juruna Mallon (Berlinale Forum); "Canuto's Transformation", by Ariel Ortega and Ernesto de Carvalho (IDFA); "Rejeito", by Pedro de Filippis (Hot Docs); "Death Inhabits at Night", by Eduardo Morotó (International Film Festival Rotterdam); and "Sultry", by Marina Meliande (International Film Festival Rotterdam). He has also served as line producer on films such as "The Best Mother in the World", by Anna Muylaert (Berlinale); "Charcoal", by Carolina Markowicz (Toronto International Film Festival); "Obra", by Gregório Graziosi (Rome Film Festival); "Super Nothing", by Rubens Rewald (Rio International Film Festival); and "The Babaçu Breakers of Brazil", by Evaldo Mocarzel (Brasília Film Festival). He is also an associate producer of "The Trial", by Maria Augusta Ramos (Berlinale). In addition, he works as a curator, producer, and collaborator in film showcases and festivals.

Leonardo was awarded a fellowship to attend the IFFR Pro Dark Room 2023, in Netherlands. In 2025, he took part in the EAVE Producers Workshop also with a Projeto Paradiso fellowship.
