Jaqueline Souza is a writer and script consultant. She has developed series and feature films for production companies such as Gullane, Lupa Filmes, Anonymous Content, Vermelho Profundo and Netflix. In 2020, she became Creative Executive at Amazon Studios, overseeing the development of genre series. Jaqueline is drawn to genre stories, a place where she found her voice, and to narratives that provoke, unsettle, and challenge. As a consultant, she has participated in numerous screenwriting labs, including Frapa_Lab, Lab Empoderadas, Cena15 at Porto Iracema das Artes, Sesc Argumenta, DiaLab, Residência Base, FilmAfro and Laboratório Novas Histórias, as well as mentoring projects at the Script Incubator of Projeto Paradiso. She also created and wrote the anthology series "Histórias Impossíveis" (Rede Globo, 2023). Co-founded Tertulia Narrativa Collective. Currently, Jaqueline works as writer and supervisor at Rede Globo.
Jaqueline's horror feature script, "Incubo", was selected for the 2018 Novas Histórias Lab, a laboratory for the development of audiovisual projects, and thus joined the Paradiso Incubator.
