Living between Aracaju and Recife, Isabelle is passionate about documentaries, dramedies, and horror cinema, with a special interest in the monstrous feminine image—the subject of her research during her Film degree at UFPE. She holds a Master's degree in Screenwriting from EICTV in Cuba and a specialization in documentary from Ateliers Varan, where she directed the short film "Daqui Não Saio" (I'm Not Leaving).
Additionally, she participated in Netflix Brazil's Pular Abertura talent acceleration program. She has collaborated on short films and independent projects as a producer, cinematographer, and editor, and worked in communication and programming at Fundação Joaquim Nabuco's cinema division. She also worked in audiovisual journalism at Diario de Pernambuco, during which time she was selected for the Galápagos Newsmaking Workshop.
She is currently developing two original projects—one of them, "Regina, Eu Te Amo" (Regina, I Love You), developed during her Master's at EICTV—and co-authoring two others, a thriller and a coming-of-age drama. All four projects feature female protagonists and themes that aim to portray womanhood beyond stereotypes.
In 2026, Cecilia was selected for the Residencia Iberoamericana de Guion and joined the Paradiso Talent Network.
