Catarina Accioly is a Brazilian screenwriter, director and producer with over 30 years’ experience in film and theatre. Her work moves between fiction and poetic-observational documentary, exploring female agency, gender narratives and the cycles of life, with a strong social commitment. A graduate of UnB and a specialist from EICTV, she directed the feature film "Rodas de Gigante", which has won awards at over 50 festivals, as well as the short films "Among Colors and Razors", "A matter of the time" and "The obscene Miss D". Throughout her career, she has also worked on the conception and production of audiovisual content focusing on human rights, the environment and rural development for TV MDA, the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Office of the President of the Republic, with works broadcast by EBC and NBR. She is a member of the Paradiso Talent Network and founder of Stelios Produções, where she develops original projects focused on social impact.
In 2025, Catarina was selected to attend the Cinenido Residency and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
