Catarina Accioly is a screenwriter, director, and producer for film, theater, and television. With a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Brasília and a specialization in cinema from EICTV, she wrote, directed, and produced the short films A Matter of Time, Among Colors and Razors and The Obscene Miss D, adapted from the work of Hilda Hilst. She has directed documentaries on human rights, agricultural development, and the environment, which have been shown on NBR/EBC. In theater, she has directed The Obscene, Dona Bolota, Trelelê happened in the S.A. family and Weaving Voluptuousness. She serves as a jury member at theater and film festivals, as well as being an allied producer for Sapcine FicCali. She is co-producing the feature film Pabellón de Los Aburridos with Colombia, which is in advanced development. Founder of Stelios Produções, focused on artistic projects with social engagement. In 2023, she premiered her first feature film at the Brasília Film Festival, the documentary Wheels of a Giant, winner of best feature film and best director; selected for 70 festivals and winner of 32 awards.
In 2025, Catarina was selected to attend the Cinenido Residency and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
