Cassiano Prado is a Brazilian screenwriter and director for film and television. His recent work includes Netflix's supernatural thriller "Invisible City" — which ranked among the world's top ten most-watched non-English series — and "Tales of Edgar" for Fox, a horror adaptation of Poe set in São Paulo. His short film "Ida" screened at Screamfest (Los Angeles), Atlanta Horror Film Festival, and Abertoir (UK). He trained at the UK's National Film and Television School, the Serial Eyes TV writing programme (DFFB, Berlin), and is currently completing his formation as a Jungian psychoanalyst at the SAAJA. He is also a Nipkow Fellow, Projeto Paradiso member, and Torino Film Lab alumnus.
Along with Murilo Hauser, Cassiano was awarded a fellowship to attend Torino Film Lab NEXT with the "Cold Cut" screenplay in 2020.
