Caio Guerra (São Paulo, 1992), is a screenwriter and director, graduated in 2014, at FAAP, and has an MFA in Advanced Cinema Studies at Edinburgh Napier University, 2023. Is the co-founder of the cultural centre Projeto Marieta, and founder of Irmãos Guerra Filmes, a producing company, where he wrote and directed several short films, ads and music videos, with which he has earned over thirty national and international awards. As of now, he teaches screenwriting in free courses at Projeto Marieta and coordinates their development groups and laboratories. Between the teaching and the development groups, Caio has directly helped over eight hundred screenwriters develop their projects and, indirectly, over a thousand more.
In 2026, Caio Guerra was awarded a fellowship to participate in MIDPOINT Institute’s Writers’ Room and joined the Paradiso Talent Network.
