Filmmaker, actor, producer and impact producer, he has received more than 30 individual awards throughout his career and has worked on over 70 audiovisual projects in different roles, including short films, series, telenovelas and feature films. He is an alumnus of the Global Media Makers program by Film Independent in Hollywood, and a member of the institution. An ESG specialist, he holds a degree in Corporate Sustainability, Regulation and ESG Transparency from Fundação Getulio Vargas, recognized as one of the leading think tanks in the world and the number one in Latin America.
Founding partner of Fatumbi Films, exclusively dedicated to audiovisual production with socio-environmental responsibility, he has been standing out for his hybrid approaches in cinema, in which each project is developed in a singular way, integrating production design, ESG strategies and structured financial management.
In 2023, he received training in audience design from the World Cinema Fund at the Berlinale.
His short films have won more than 100 awards in Brazil and internationally. Early in his career, he received the SIGNIS/OCIC Award and produced the short film "Meu Amigo Nietzsche", winner of the Audience Award and the Fernand Raynaud Prize at the Festival International du Court Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand.
A member of the Academia Brasileira de Cinema, he served, in 2016, on the selection committee for Brazil’s submission to the Goya Awards and, in 2023, on the committee responsible for selecting Brazil’s submission to the Academy Awards.
In 2022, he released his first feature film as a director, "A Espera de Liz". The production was recognized as the first in the history of Brazilian cinema to fully offset the carbon emissions of its production, with transparency and public auditing. In 2023, the film was a finalist at the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro in four categories, including Best Original Screenplay and Best First Feature Film.
In 2024, Bruno was selected to participate in the 6th edition of the Paradiso Incubator with the project "The Jaguar"
