Andréa Rodrigues is an actress and researcher from Minas Gerais, graduated from the School of Fine Arts at UFMG. She is a member of Cia. Bando, which works with storytelling as a language while exploring musicality and staging in theater for young audiences. She works in theater, screenwriting, directing, and arts education. As an actress, she works both in theater and audiovisual productions; in theater, she also performs in adult and children’s musicals. In screenwriting, she was part of the LANANE 2020 cohort and later participated in writers’ rooms with Amazon, having written an episode of the second season of the series 5x Comédia. She has also worked with Paramount, Globoplay, and Netflix, creating a promo for the International Day of Black and Afro-Latin American and Caribbean Women. In 2025, she completed the Master’s in Screenwriting (Maestría de Guion) at EICTV in Cuba, as a Paradiso scholarship recipient.
Andréa was awarded a fellowship to attend the Maestría em Escrita Criativa de Roteiro Audiovisual, of the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de Los Baños, in Cuba, and became part of the talent network.
