Ana do Carmo is a director and screenwriter, represented by Condé+, co-founder of Saturnema Filmes, and a Paradiso talent. She was featured in Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios magazine and won over 20 awards, including the Cabíria Award, the Excellence in Screenwriting (ABRA), and FRAPA—the largest screenwriting competition in Latin America. Was selected for Expocine, PAS Workshop (France), Decolonial Voices Lab (Brazil/France), PLOT (Portugal), and FIN Partners (Canada), and has participated in events such as the Marché du Film (Cannes) and SXSW (USA). Was selected for Netflix’s COLAB program and worked on projects for Amazon and Warner Bros. She has directed 11 shorts screened in 10 countries and at more than 30 festivals, including "Neurosis" (Atlanta Women’s Film Festival) and "The Woman at the End of the World" (Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival). She is the writer and director of the feature film "Meridian", distributed by Vitrine Filmes and currently in post-production.
Ana received the Paradiso Award in the 2020 edition of the Cabíria Festival de Roteiros.
