experimental filmmaker and animator, I have been working in the film industry for seven years as a screenwriter, director, and conceptual artist. During this time, I have directed thirteen short films and two feature films. I was a finalist for the Brazilian Grand Prix for Cinema and a winner of the FRAPA award in 2020. I am from the eastern part of São Paulo and am a member of the Paradiso Talent Network; my work focuses on creating evocative images and exploring the language of cinema.
Amanda was awarded a fellowship to attend the Maestría em Escrita Criativa de Roteiro Audiovisual, of the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de Los Baños, in Cuba.
