Thainá Silva holds a degree in Audiovisual Production from PUCRS and began her film studies at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires. While in Argentina, she completed a course in Assistant Directing at SICA. She interned as an assistant director at DVL Film House in Mexico. In Brazil, she worked in the music industry producing videos and photo campaigns for artists such as Gal Costa, Luiz Melodia, MV Bill, and Fernanda Abreu. She has worked on several short films and, in cinema, served as a production assistant on the feature films Vai Dar Nada, Continente, and The Penguin and the Fisherman. She was location producer for Ato Noturno and production assistant for the series Cidade de Deus – A Luta Não Para. In recent years, Thainá has focused on directing, having directed music videos and short films, while also developing her own original projects.
In 2025, Thainá was selected for the Paradiso Accelerator and became part of the Talent Network.
