Raul Perez is a screenwriter whose work includes the Emmy International-nominated miniseries "Anderson Spider Silva" (Paramount+) and the global hit Netflix's "Sintonia," which reached the platform's #1 spot for non-English series worldwide in 2024. As a creator, his original projects "Melanina" and "Angelão" have been selected for prestigious labs and markets including TorinoFilmLab's Next Series and Seriesmania Rio. His feature film project, "K-Samba," was awarded at Ventana Sur. Perez is also a contributing screenwriter for the award-winning documentary "Luiz Melodia: No Coração do Brasil" (2024). Beyond writing, he is a founding partner of MUNDI Filmes and a co-founder of Nicho 54, an institute dedicated to developing the careers of Black professionals in the audiovisual industry.
In 2025, Raul was selected for the TFL Next Series and became part of the Talent Network.
