Master in Digital Content Creation and Production from UFRJ, and Bachelor in Cinema and Audiovisual from UFRB, she is a producer, screenwriter, and director. She produced the documentaries “A Primeira Pedra” and “Rolê – Histórias dos Rolezinhos”, which was nominated for the 2019 International Emmy Awards and won Best Documentary at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival in 2021. She directed the short film “Esperando o Sábado”, which won the Best Short Film Direction award at the Vitória Film Festival. She wrote the script for “Flores Vermelhas”, which took part in Panorama Lab, Curta Cinema Lab, and was a semifinalist at the Rota Festival 2017. She also created the project “Hoje é Dia de Baile”, chosen as Best Project at the Curta Cinema Lab. She has worked as a content professor in documentary production at the Solano Trindade School for Artistic, Technical, and Cultural Training and Qualification, and as a professor of Screenwriting and Directing at the Caiçara Film School. She is currently writing her first feature film, selected by the Cena 15 Lab – Porto Iracema das Artes, the international residency Empoderadas Paradiso, and winner of the Paradiso Award.

Érica received the Talent Network Award at Cena 15, in 2024, and became part of the Talent Network. In 2025, she was selected for the Residência Internacional Empoderadas Paradiso.
