Thais Pontes is one of the creators of the series Encantado’s, which won the APCA Award for “Best Comedy Series” in 2022 and the ABRA Awards for Best Comedy Series Writing (2022/2023 and 2025). She is also one of the writers of the TV film Coisa de Novela, starring Susana Vieira and Valentina Herszage, and the feature film Maravilha, starring Marcus Majella. She is part of the writing team for the second season of the series "Pablo e Luisão". She has written for the shows Escolinha do Professor Raimundo and Zorra, and is currently part of the writing team for the segment Mulheres Fantásticas, aired on Fantástico. Thais participated in the “Cria Globo” workshop for the development of telenovela writers. She was also a writer for the “Sim à Igualdade Racial 2023” awards. Thais is one of the authors of the stage production Mãe Baiana, starring Léa Garcia and Luana Xavier, which won the Ubuntu Award in 2024. She is the recipient of the ABRA Award for “Screenwriter of the Year".
Thais received the ABRA/Paradiso Award in 2024 and became part of the Talent Network.
