Master’s in Digital Content Creation and Production (UFRJ), BA in Film (UFRB); producer, screenwriter and director. Produced the documentaries “The First Stone,” nominated for the International EMMY (2019), and “Rolê—Stories of the Rolezinhos,” Best Documentary at Festival do Rio (2021). Directed the films “Waiting for Saturday,” Best Short Director at Festival de Vitória (2018), “Red Flowers,” semifinalist at Festival Rota (2017), and “Today Is Ball Day,” Best Project at Curta Cinema Lab (2022). Joined the writers’ room of the series “Imagem Bruta.” Worked as a content instructor in Documentary Production at ESCULT/MINC, and in Screenwriting and Directing at Escola de Cinema Caiçara. Currently directing the documentary “Women of 90,” Best Project at DOC Futura 2025, and writing her first feature film “Queens of the Ball,” selected for Laboratório Cena 15 and the 1st Empoderadas Paradiso International Residency, and winner of the Paradiso Award.

Érica received the Talent Network Award at Cena 15, in 2024, and became part of the Talent Network. In 2025, she was selected for the Residência Internacional Empoderadas Paradiso.
