Milena Times has been working in the film industry since 2007 as a screenwriter, director, and assistant director. She founded the production company Espreita Filmes, and her two short films — “Dam” (2016) and “Au Revoir” (2013) — have been screened in several national and international festivals and together they won 18 awards. She also co-directed with Hilton Lacerda the TV series Chão de Estrelas (Canal Brasil/Globoplay), a Cinema Brazil Grand Prize finalist. Her first feature film, “Not Tomorrow Yet” had its international premiere at Mar del Plata International Film Festival and its Brazilian premiere at Rio Film Festival, where it won the Best Actress award. The film has been screened in eight countries and has received 12 awards. Milena was awarded a fellowship to develop her second feature film in the Ibero-American Audiovisual Project Development Course (CDPAI), in 2023.
