She holds a Master’s degree from the PósCultura Program at the Federal University of Bahia (2023) and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts, with a specialization in Film and Audiovisual Studies, from the Federal University of Bahia (2013). She has worked as an audiovisual filmmaker for 15 years, contributing to over 40 productions, primarily in the art and directing departments. She is a member of the Projeto Paradiso Talent Network and the Cabíria Talent Network, and is affiliated with ABRA. She directed the award-winning short film Jussara (2023) and is currently preparing the release of her first feature film, Sunday Lunch (Arroz de Hauçá), for which she is also the screenwriter.

Camila received the Paradiso Award in the 2021 edition of the Cabíria Festival de Roteiros with the feature screenplay "Arroz de Hauçá".
