With a degree in Communication from PUC (Rio) and a MFA in Film from Columbia University (NY), Pedro Coutinho released "All the Reasons to Forget", his first feature film, in 2018. The film was nominated for Best Comedy at the Cinema Brazil Grand Prize. Pedro also directed and wrote the episode "No Exit" of the TV Show "5x Comedy" (Amazon), nominated for best comedy script at prêmio ABRA. His two short films, "The Name of the Cat" (2009) and "The Game" (2013), were selected for more than 70 festivals. He directed the second season of the tv series "Elmiro Miranda Show" (TBS). He has also worked in dozens of commercials, directing films for major brands, like: Coke, Pepsi, McDonald's and Heineken. As screenwriter, he was the head writer of "Me, Her and 1 Million of Followers" (Multishow). Was in the writer's room of "Meu Passado Me Condena" (Multishow). Developed projects for Netflix, HBO, Star+ and GloboPlay. Recently, he had two projects selected for the Cine Qua Non Lab, in Mexico.

In 2020, Pedro was awarded a fellowship to the Script Revision Lab of Cine Qua Non Lab in Mexico.
