Screenwriter and director, holding a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Media and Processes. Winner of Best Pilot at FRAPA (2020) and finalist at GUIÕES (2021). Develops original and commissioned projects at the creative studio Tropical Dystopia, with participation in several screenwriting labs such as BRLab Audience Design, and as a finalist at Cabíria Lab.Currently developing the screenplay for his first feature film, "Quinta dos Lázaros", selected for the CENA 15 and SOL FILM LAB programs. As director he He has films of multiple selections and a nomination for the CILECT Prize. The short "Movimentos Migratórios" was part of the Official Competition at the Gramado Film Festival (2024) and nominated for the Grande Otelo Award (2025). He won Best Short Film Awards at the FAMA and FAM festivals (2024), as well as the Canal Brasil Award and Best Film by the Audience Jury at the Marília Film Festival.
With "Internal Enemy", written alongside Eva Freire, Rogério won the Paradiso Award in the Series Pilot Contest at FRAPA 2020.
