Carolina is a screenwriter and director based in São Paulo, Brazil. She has written and directed six short films, such as "O Órfão" and "Edifício Tatuapé Mahal" (both at Mubi), as well as two feature films, "Carvão" and "Pedágio". Her films have been selected for more than 400 festivals, including Cannes, Locarno, Toronto, SXSW, and San Sebastián, and have won over 100 awards. Currently, Carolina is developing her third feature film, O Funeral, selected to Torino Script Lab, Pop Up Residency and Berlinale Co-production Market.
In 2019, Carolina was awarded a fellowship to the TFL Extended Creative Production and 12° TFL Meeting Event, in Turin, Italy.
