Higor Gomes is a co-founder of the production company Ponta de Anzol Filmes. He directed the short films "Impermeável Pavio Curto" (2018) and "Forrando a Vastidão" (2021), which were screened at over 60 national festivals and showcases, receiving several awards. His third short film, "Ramal" (2023), had its national premiere in the Brazilian Competition at the 12th Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba International Film Festival, where it won the awards for Best Film from both the critics and the official jury. Its international premiere took place at the 30th FICValdivia, where it received the award for Best Latin American Film. The short also won Best Film at the 30th Vitória Film Festival and the 15th Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife. He is currently developing "Tempestade Ninja", his first feature-length project. He is a member of APAN and ABRA.
Higor Gomes' first feature film project "Ninja Storm", participated in the 10th Brasil CineMundi - International Coproduction Meeting, where it was selected to be part of the Paradiso Incubator.
