Keka Reis is a writer, screenwriter, and playwright who began her career in audiovisual media at MTV in the 1990s. Since then, she has worked on several feature films aimed at children and young adults and has published four novels for this age group, three of which were finalists for the Jabuti Award. Keka has served as a head writer for streaming platforms like Disney and Amazon Prime and has been part of the writing teams for numerous Brazilian productions. In 2024, the series "O dia em que a minha vida mudou" (The Day My Life Changed), created by her and co-written with Thomas Huszar, premiered on the Gloob channel and Globoplay, running for two seasons. Two feature films she worked on as a screenwriter are scheduled to premiere in 2026: "Medley", adapted by her from one of her own novels, and "Apenas três meninas" (Just Three Girls), both produced by Panorâmica. The author is currently working on "Cansei", a contemporary novel about the challenges of menopause.

In 2026, Keka received the ABRA Screenwriter of the Year Award and became part of the Paradiso de Talentos Network.
