Madiano directed "Madalena", which premiered at the 2021 International Film Festival Rotterdam (Tiger Competition). The film won the Best International Film award at the Istanbul Film Festival and was screened at more than forty international festivals, including New Directors/New Films (USA), San Sebastián (Horizontes Latinos), Biarritz, among others. For "Madalena", he was named Best Director of 2021 by the 12th Cinema Tropical Awards and the São Paulo Association of Art Critics.
He directed the short films "The Coldest Place in Rio", "The Weight of Loving You", "In Transit", and "Void". He is currently producing his next feature, "Mother of Gold", and developing his third film, "Critter".
In 2026, he was selected for the HBF+Brazil development initiative with "Critter".
