Gael Bérgamo is a screenwriter, editor, and videomaker born and raised in ABC Paulista, Brazil. He holds a degree in Radio, TV & Internet from Universidade Metodista, fully funded by the ProUni scholarship program, an MBA in Semiotics from Estácio de Sá, and postgraduate specializations in Documentary and in the PRO Screenwriting at the Academia Internacional de Cinema. Winner of the FRAPA 2025 Award for Best Feature Screenplay with "Revide", which also received an Honorable Mention from the jury at the Sorocaba Film Festival’s Grand Screenplay Prize. His horror short film "Apertado" was selected for the Marginal Screenwriting Lab at the 2025 Kinoforum Festival. With over 12 years of experience in the audiovisual field, he has worked in screenwriting, directing, producing, and editing for fiction, documentaries, television, and various digital platforms.
In 2025, Gael received the Paradiso Award for Best Feature Film Screenplay at FRAPA and became part of the Paradiso Network.
