Gabriela Matarazzo is Director of Development at Prodigo Films, one of Brazil’s leading production companies. She oversees the development of scripted and unscripted feature films and series for both Brazilian and international markets, and also leads the company’s International Division. Gabriela has worked as Script Supervisor for major shows including The World Is a Game (HBO), Come Back Priscila (Disney Plus), as well as in the story team for Prodigo's recent releases: Emmy nominated show Anderson Spider Silva (Paramount Plus), A Tragedy Foretold: Flight 3054 (Netflix), and others. She has worked as a screenwriter for Netflix and currently writes a feature film for the up and coming director Luciana Vieira. Besides her work at Pródigo, Gabriela is the co-founder of Rhiza, a boutique production company dedicated to bold and emerging voices. Rhiza’s standout works include La Perra, an award winning animated short that premiered in Cannes; Ashes of the Forest, a feature documentary who premiered at the Ecofalante Film Festival; and Joqueta, an upcoming short written coproduced by Karim Ainouz.
In 2025, Gabriela received a Paradiso Award at Cabíria and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
